Makeover

"This isn't going to help," Zelgadis muttered.

But the pink haired girl didn't listen. She pouted her gloss-covered lips and pointed at his face. "Negativity isn't going to help!"

Zelgadis sighed and shifted uncomfortably in his chair as Mimi picked up a large container of tan colored cream.

"Now hold still. This foundation is the very best! Mama imported it from France for me! According to the box, it covers up even the worst skin problems!"

Zelgadis winced as the girl began to rub the cream on his face. It felt really... gross. "It's not a skin problem."

Mimi nodded sadly. "It's okay, you don't have to make up stories. Some people just aren't blessed with beautiful perfect skin like me!"

Zelgadis rolled his eyes. "It's a curse."

Mimi blinked a few times, her eyes getting watery and her lower lip quivering. "D-don't worry! I completely understand! But we're going to make you BEAUTIFUL! I promise!"

Zelgadis winced. "I-I don't really want to be beautiful..."

Mimi set down the cream and picked up a tube of lipstick. "Now hold still!"

Zelgadis was out the door in an instant.
